Nepal National Team captain Sagar Thapa believes everything will be sorted out soon and Nepalese Football will get back to its pace.

Speaking in a press meet about current affairs and controversies in Nepalese Football, captain Sagar Thapa says that the players are committed to secure Nepalese Football and make youth optimistic about the future in football.

“We are here to save Nepalese football and current situation does not suggests Footballing environment”, captain Sagar Thapa told in a press meet where captain, coaches and referees submitted a memorandum to NSC General secretary and asked to establish a footballing environment for all players, officials and football lovers.

“Nepalese Footballers believe that we have future in Football. This is why no players decided to fled away in Korea and instead return back. We want to develop an environment so the upcoming generations could believe and trust in their future through football.”, he continued.

“We want to protect football, not any individual. If anyone has done anything wrong, he must be punished but in a way where Football is not harmed”, he continued.

“We are even ready to get to the road and protest if we had to, in the welfare of Nepalese Football”, he added.

Additionally Nepalese international Sandip Rai said that most of the sports in Nepal involves compromise and politics, but Nepalese Footballer came through struggle and selections. He believes that the offender must be punished.
