National team captain Sagar Thapa, Nepal U16 captain Bimal Gharti Magar, FIFA referee Laba Khatri, Women’s team captain Chandra Bhandari and coach Bal Gopal Maharjan signed the memorandum.

“We are very much disappointed with the current ongoing controversies with All Nepal Football Association. We have no obligations if the investigation goes in proper way and the culprit is punished, but the FA’s current situation means the environment is against players, coaches and referees.”, the first paragraph of the memorandum reads.

“Nobody is above the law and investigation on ANFA but the decision to suspend ANFA’s officials for two months will provoke FIFA’s law and Nepal may be suspended from FIFA. This may affect home and away based super league that has been scheduled to kick off from this season. As a result the players may divert and this will affect the future of Nepalese football.”

“We request the concerned authorities to make further investigations of the ANFA officials and punish them if found guilty, but we would like the Public Accounts to reconsider the decision.”
