There are a lot of Muslim players in the top league of the world football who are representing their country in the world cup and some of them have reached great height. Muslim players regard God more than anything else for their success as we have already seen them dedicating goals way over in the sky.

They don’t stop fasting even in the match days. The most of the Muslim players to play in the top division league are from Africa or from the European countries who has colonized the African countries during the mid of the 19th century.

Zinedine Yazid  Zidane: Zizou the man

  1. Zinedine Yazid  Zidane: Zizou the man who doesn’t need any description is one of the highly celebrated player in the history of the game and regarded as one of the three best players of the modern football.The three world best players of the year and one Balloon d’Or describes how successful he was during his career. He was the key man during the world cup claim of the France in the world cup 1998 scoring two important headers in the final against Brazil.
    He also won a champions league with Real Madrid scoring wonderful winner volley from the 22 yards in the final against Valencia. Zidane won the golden ball in the 2006 world cup which was also his last football tournament. France ended as runner up of the tournament after they lost final to Italy in Penalty. He received a red card  for head butting Zambora in the final.
    He started his football career from the  Cannes and ended at Real Madrid in 2006. He is currently serving as an Assistant in Real Madrid football Club. His Father migrated to France from Algeria during the second world war.

Franck Ribery: Franck Pierre Ribery is known for his pace, skill, stamina and his brilliance in the right side of the field who is currently playing for Bayern Munich in Germany and represents France in nationality. Born on 1983, 5ft  7inch short man struggled very hard to get into the current status and is one of the important part in this list of best Muslim players.
    He was also one of the players to get placed in the final nomination on 2013’s Ballon d’Or. He is already three times French player of the year and best European footballer in 2013. He is also ranked fourth among the players who are currently playing football according to The Gurdian.
    Ribéry suffered serious injury which resulted him more than 100 stitches in his body. In his boyhood he worked as a construction worker with his father.
    He was an important part of the French national football team who was runner up of the tournament.
  3. Yaya Toure: Gnegnery Yaya Toure, the man with the powerful body who is capable to stop anyone in the midfield is the important part of the Manchester City squad that won the league after half a century. He is also a vital player in the golden team of the Ivory Coast.
    The Powerman was best voted as best African player on 2011, 2012 and 2013. He was also the part of the historical Barcelona team, which won six trophies in 2009. He was also a best African player in 2013 caused by the BBC.
  4. Mesut Ozil: Mesut Ozil is one of the successful products of the new German Football Structure. He started getting recognition after getting nominated for the Golden Ball award of the world cup 2010. He joined Arsenal before the 2013/2014 season from Real Madrid on 42.5 million, becoming most expensive German player of all time.
    Ozil’s parents were Turkish and  he was awarded by Bambi award in 2010 for being a prime example of successful integration within German society. Ozil is also compared with Zinedine Zidane looking at his playing style.
