With world cup approaching, the English forward Sturridge has caught an injury in the match and was replaced by Joe Allen in the second half.
The Telegraph‘s Henry Winter was one of the first to report Sturridge’s injury and claimed that the English striker has suffered HamString injury which could keep him out for couple of matches.
The English striker was not enjoying good match wasting some good chances for the reds, however the reds will certainly miss him with four games remaining to hold on to the last as the league winner. Suarez and Sturridge have already scored 49 goals together in their partnership.
Meanwhile Jordan Henderson will miss Liverpool’s three of the four remaining matches. Henderson was shown a straight red, way off by referee Mark Clattenburg after a tackle on Samir Nasri.
