Philippe Coutinho reveals he is ready for Portuguese nationality so as to make Barca’s transfer status more stronger.. Brazilian Coutinho is one of three non-EU players on Barcelona’s books and is set to play at the World Cup this year.
Barca are not permitted any more players from outside the EU yet have scouts all finished south America looking to secure arrangements. Also, Coutinho has uncovered he is set to free up a spot in the squad for another player.
In a meeting with Barcelona-based daily paper Mundo Deportivo, the ex-Liverpool star uncovered how he is near applying for a Portuguese visa. “Yes, I can get citizenship through my wife,” he said. Coutinho’s significant other, Aine, is Portuguese and the player can enlist as a Portuguese native following three years of marriage.
