Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes Virgil van Dijk is the best focus back Liverpool have had since Alan Hansen.

Liverpool finished a world-record £75million move for Van Dijk on January 1, with the protector scoring on his presentation in the Merseyside derby in the FA Cup third round. Yet, Souness feels Liverpool now have their best focus back since the amazing Hansen, who left in 1991.
