According to Jamie Redknapp, Chelsea should not feel upset to have sold Romelu Lukaku and Mohamed Salah but must regret their decision to let Kevin De Bruyne leave.
Belgium international Lukaku spent two years at Stamford with just 10 Premier League appearance before being sold to Everton in 2014. After he moved to Everton he developed into one of the best strikers in England and move to Manchester United in the summer.
Letting the talented duo leave has been criticized by many but Redknapp says the only ‘real regret’ for Chelsea is selling De Bruyne, who has become the ‘Premier League’s best player’ since joining Manchester City two years ago.
‘Mo Salah’s start at Liverpool has been sensational. He has scored nine Premier League goals already – more than any other Liverpool player after their first 12 games for the club, overtaking Robbie Fowler,’ Redknapp told the Daily Mail.
