United rejected Isco for bizarre reason

Manchester United failed to sign the midfielder as the scout reports from Manchester have been revealed and the reason is bizarre.

Real Madrid defeated Manchester United 2-1, thanks to the brilliance from Isco. However the Spaniard could have been in different side of the team if United had utilized their chance to lure the midfielder.

ESPN reveal a United scout report from 2013 on the then 21-year-old read: “He’s good, but not quite quick enough and his head is too big for his body.”

It was an astonishing claim as Isco was one of the greatest youth prospect and he has excelled at Real Madrid without the size of head being any problem.

The report was revealed almost year after it was claimed in Sir Alex Ferguson’s book that United rejected the chance to sign Jordan Henderson because they thought the way he ran “might cause him problems later in life.”

While the Englishman is not at the level of Spanish midfielder Isco, he is currently the captain of Liverpool and is contender to replace Wayne Rooney in the England National team.
