President Ram Baran Yadav Unveils the FIFA World Cup Trophy

FIFA World cup Trophy has been unveiled in Dasarath Rangashala for the first time in the history.

A history has been created today unveiling the real gold, FIFA World cup ^TM Trophy here in Kathmandu. This is the first time that the authentic trophy has been brought here in the capital.

The President of Nepal, Mr. Ram Baran Yadav unveiled the trophy in presence of Mr. Neeraj Garj, vice President of South West Asia Oprations.

“We as a society need to build a culture if sports that is mainstream and accessible to people across the spectrub “, president of ANFA, Mr. Ganesh Thapa said.

“The world’s most beloved beverage also brings about moments that come but once in a life time. Its my belief that this Trophy tour will fuel a movement of healthy, active living, not just in Kathmandu but across the country”, speaking in the ceremony, Mr. Neeraj Garg said.

The global trophy tour by Coca-Cola kicked off with an official launch ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 12 September 2013 and the trophy arrived Nepal from Bhutan.

The trophy this time will tour 51 new countries that have never hosted the tour before out of which Nepal is one. The trophy will be escorted to India on Sunday.
