Ncell Cup 2070 – Ten Players to Keep an Eye on

Ncell cup 2070, the group and Knock out tournament is set to kick off from second December. 12 A division team will be grouped into four different groups while the super 8 teams will feature in the quarter finals.

Givemegoal.com takes a look on players that are worth keeping a close eye during the tournament, either it be by their great run of form or by their struggling performances.

Ncell cup 2070 Fixtures

1. Deepak Rai – The MMC striker that made his debut with the National team will be a great player to watch. Starting his international career on a 2-0 defeat to India, Deepak was one of the  only few players during the game. Deepak will give his best to impress the coaches to make his regular entrance in the team.
2. Karna Limbu – NMB Bank Machhindra FC captain Karna Limbu is one of the consistent players for the team. The skipper has shown a consistent game, either it was in Gurkha cup or the league last season. Despite of his clean finish and great run, the guy has always been under the shadows and can be a good one to watch during the cup. He scored two goals recently in a friendly match where NMB Bank Machhindra FC defeated Nepal APF 2-0.
3. Asim Jung Karki – The U19 striker has been in a great run of form so far. He was the only goal scorer for the Nepal U19 team during the team’s visit to Dubai for U19 AFC qualifiers. Asim Jung Karki was recently loaned on Sikkim Governer’s gold cup by the winners Laxmi Bank Three Star club and his presence added great benefit to the defending league winners.
4. Bishal Shrestha – MMC goalkeeper Bishal Shrestha did well to make a quick recovery on his form after a year long injury. Returning after a season long injury, Bishal Shrestha made a quick comeback fitting himself as one of the reasons for MMC’s success in Safal Cup. He made some notable saves in SAFAL cup final against Laxmi Bank Three Star club where MMC was adjudged the winner.
5. Saroj Dahal – Saroj Dahal will be among the man to watch as he will be the important part in Three Star club’s center defense. Followed by a toe injury for a long time, Sandip Rai must be backed up in the center of defense and the duty falls under former Madhyapur Youth Club man. He was the backbone of the team when Madhyapur entered the semifinal of the tournament in the last edition
6. Jagajeet Shrestha – The Nepali International has struggled to perform at his caliber due to a series of injuries, however has always impressed in the field. Failing to get regular start during the SAFF championship of injury, Jagjeet remained a doubt during an international friendly in India, however he played. Targeted by couple of clubs, one of which is Bangladesh’s Abahani Limited, Jagjeet Shrestha will give his best to prove his worth to choose.
7. Ajit Prajapati – Ajit Prajapati, the flying young man, has always impressed with his performance during his spell with Bansbari Club. Regardless of his small height the custodian guards the post very well and always makes it difficult for the opponent attackers to find the net.
8. Bharat Khawas – The only hat trick scorer for Nepal in the current squad, Bharat Khawas will be a man to watch followed by his poor form. He failed to impress during SAFAL Pokhara cup and did not participate in the India friendly. Bharat Khawas will play in the opening match of the tournament against Samsung Jawalakhel youth club while will be doubtful in the remaining matches. He has missed the regular footballing action followed by his training for Army second lieutenant.
9. Leonce Dodoz – Laxmi Bank Three Star club signed Dodoz for Friends club where he impressed with his speed and great touch on the ball. Dodoz remained with his team in Malaysia during the AFC presidents cup, despite of his mother’s sad demise. After an impressive performance with Friends club and appreciable performance during AFC President’s cup qualifiers at home, the Ivory Coast man has failed to get over his poor run recently.
10. Salyan Khagi – CMG Sankata Club captain could be playing his last knock out tournament of his career. The man who served almost 12 years for the club might be in his last season. Salyan is comfortable to play in any position in the field while features mostly as the left back. The man with the arm band for Sankata club might be the one to watch during the tournament.
