Sergio Aguero punched a fan in a warmed fight on the pitch after Manchester City’s thrashing to Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup on Monday evening.
Pep Guardiola’s expectations of winning the fourfold this season have finished after Will Grigg’s late goal fixed triumph for the League One club at the DW Stadium. At the last shriek, Wigan fans ran onto the pitch to celebrate with their players.
However, Aguero lashed out at one supporter after he was drawn nearer as he headed towards the passage. The Argentine striker hit the fan with his right arm yet was then controlled by Wigan defender Cheyenne Dunkley and an individual from City’s training staff as he endeavored to get nearer to the man. Guardiola’s aide Mikel Arteta then drove Aguero down the passage.
