Swansea piled on the greatest FA Cup win in their history as Swansea whipped Notts County 8-1 on Tuesday. This victory has provided with additional proof of its recovery under new supervisor Carlos Carvalhal.

Swansea City boss Garry Monk optimistic Ayew-Gomis partnership will last long

Carvalhal has been able to lift the Welsh club out of the Premier League’s relegation zone lately as his reign made the club win over Liverpool and Arsenal. Notts County gave a considerably less demanding test and Swansea exploited by scoring four goals in every half at Liberty Stadium. The groups attracted 1-1 the first match a month ago.

“It’s important if it’s the best result in the (club’s) history, but the most important thing is the attitude of the players that made all the difference,” Carvalhal said. “I spoke to them before the game that we had a challenge.”
