Xhaka: Arsenal can catch Man City

After their impressive north London derby victory over Tottenham Arsenal can still catch Manchester City in the Premier League title race, which is the opinion of Granit Xhaka who insists ‘everything is possible in.

With eight point gap at the top of the table with rivals Manchester United currently in second-place, Pep Guardiola’s side had won all but one of their 12 league fixtures.

The Gunners moved to within one point of Spurs after Saturday’s 2-0 win at the Emirates and Xhaka believes the side are capable of pushing City all the way.

Xhaka said: ‘They might not continue as they have been’. But our aim is just to focus on ourselves. We know we need to work and we’re convinced that we can compete at the top.”
