Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez played the full 90 minutes couldn’t inspire his national team. Chile’s World Cup qualification is on tenterhooks after their 1-0 defeat in Bolivia on Tuesday night.
Juan Arce’s penalty safeguarded the points for the home side with a penalty. Bolivia finished with 10 men when Alejandro Chumacero was dismissed for a second yellow card in the 90th minute but they held on for the three points.
In spite of playing 90 minutes Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez couldn’t inspire his national team and sit in fourth position with same as Argentina.
As per the rule the first four teams automatically qualify for Russia where the fifth one have to go for a play-off. And the leader Brazil who have already been qualified for the World Cups Finals drew – with Colombia who are also in second position.
