Draw sufficient for Germany

Germany face Northern Ireland in Group C UEFA world cup qualifiers as a point against the home side is sufficient for the former champions to mark their place in 2018 Russia World cup.

The reigning champions are top of the table with 24 point while Norther Ireland stand second with 19 point. A draw means Germany will be confirmed group winners with a game in hand and will join other teams in the Russia World cup. 54 teams are divided in 9 group where each group winners claim direct spot in the world cup finals while the best 8 runner ups fight in a two legged home and away play off to secure remaining four spots from Europe.

Germany will be without star midfielders Mesut Ozil and Sami Khedira while inform youngster Timo Werner also misses out due to injury.

Meanwhile the home side will have boosted defensive lineup with return of West Brom defender Gareth McAuley who missed out couple of international matches due to injury.
