Jose Mourinho has revealed that his star players Paul Pogba, MarouaneFellaini and RomeluLukaku has been helping Anthony Martial to transform his stumbling career in United.
Since signing from Monaco for £36million, the 21 year old Martial had two frustrating seasons and now has been heavily linked with a move away from the Red Devils this summer as Inter Milan reportedly keen on the France forward.
However, the Frenchman has hit the ground running this season with two goals off the bench in the Red Devils’ opening league clashes against West Ham and Swansea.
Mourinho said: ‘We had a conversation [in the summer] about his future here.’, after the win at the Liberty Stadium,
‘It was all positive. I think he has a good connection on the pitch with Paul Pogba, with RomeluLukaku.
‘I think it’s coming – his confidence is growing. Two periods of 20 minutes, scoring two goals – it’s good for his confidence. We’re using him well and he has the right attitude.’
‘Of course he wants to play, he wants to start, he wants to be selected for the national team and go to the World Cup. For me it’s simple: I can’t play in the Champions League, Premier League and cups with eleven players. I need a squad.’
He also added: ‘That French language little group we have – Fellaini, Paul, Lukaku.
