Liverpool Football club owner Fenway Sports Group issued an statement as they claim Coutinho is not for sale at any cost.
“We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho,” a statement from Fenway Sports Group (FSG) read.
“The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.”
Meanwhile Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp welcomed FSG’s statement on a pre match conference but confirmed that Coutinho will miss the Premier League opener against Watford due to back injury.
Liverpool have already denied two bids for Barcelona. Meanwhile Coutinho has said that he would love a move to Barcelona, however he would not force it.
