Nepal Police club plays a goal less draw to Sankata while NMB Bank Machhindra FC and Nepal APF are tied up 2-2 in interesting matches played in Dasarath Rangashala.
Nepal Police Club came across an early chance in the 6th minute when a cross from in-form Bhola Silwal was followed by a weak header from Jumanu Rai that found the cross bar before the goalkeeper claimed his hands.
Sankata came across a good chance in 24th minute when Afeez’s cross was followed by a good shot from Nishan Limbu which Ritesh Thapa dived to grab on a great display.
Ganesh Khadka’s shot from 25 yards in 35th minute was punched away by the goalkeeper to end the first half.
NPC controlled the first 10 minute of the second half with a notable chance coming in 55th minute; however Suman Subedi’s header on Bhola’s corner went above the target.
Afeez did well to drive a ball forward in 64th minute to release a shot which Ritesh Thapa did well to deny diving to his left.
The match ended goal less as both teams failed to make any strong threat to their opponents in later encounter in the game.
