Home Town boy Bhola Silwal was named best player of first Ganesh Man Singh memorial Football tournament which concluded today in Nepal Army’s way.

The victorious Nepal Army dominated most of the honor as the top goal scorer, man of the match of the final game, best goalkeeper, best midfielder were all the Army men that defeated Nepal Police Club 3-1.

Bharat Khawas whose 90th minute goal rocked Army Club remained the man of the match, while Tek Bahadur Budathoki with four goals claimed the top scorer spot. He scored two in the first match against Sunalchu FC of Sikkim, one each against African United and Nepal Police Club, in the semifinal and final respectively.

Meanwhile Hiranya Magar, Bikash Malla and Raju Tamang were best defender, best goal keeper and best midfielder respectively, all from the winning side.

Similarly veteran striker Jumanu Rai was adjudged best striker of the tournament that concluded on Saturday.
