Burnley FC are going to host the match against  Chelsea in their opening match of English Premier League 2014/15 season. 

Newly promoted side Burnley Football Club are going to take on the top side Chelsea FC  in their today’s opening match of English Premier League . 18 teams have already played their first match in the league where defending champion Manchester City are in the top of the table with 3 points after defeating Newcastle United 2-0. Beside City other teams like  Arsenal , Liverpool, Tottenham, Hull City, Aston Villa and Swansea City have already opened the league with win.

Today’s fixture is the last match of the week one and Chelsea are looking for the big margin win to capture the first position from the beginning of the league. Chelsea are boosted with some of the new signing like Diego Costa, Drogba, Cesc Fabregas, Filipe Luis and so on. Although Didier Drogba will not be travelling with the team due the ankle injury while Ramires is also suspended for the todays clash. Petr Cech will start in the today’s match while Schurrle might be kept in the bench.

Burnley will be playing without their key player Sam Vokes although some of the summer signings Lucas Jutkiewicz, Matthew Taylor might debut in the today’s match.

Both teams have faced each other for three times since last six years in which Chelsea have won the two of them and one match was ended as the favor of Burnley FC in penalty shotout.
