Asian Cup Final: South Korea vs Australia - Match Preview

In the last six meetings between the sides, South Korea have won three times while Australia have won the match only once. The game has ended in a draw in two occasions. The most recent match between the sides ended 1-0 in favor of South Korea. Jung Hyub Lee scored the only goal in the game a couple of weeks ago.

South Korea beat Iraq by 2-0 to enter into the semi finals. Jung Hyub Lee scored the opening goal on 20th minute while Kim Young Gwon doubled the lead in the 50th minute. Australia on the other hand defeated United Arab Emirates by 2-0 to play the home final. Trent Sainsbury scored the opener in the 3rd minute while Jason Davidson doubled the scoring in the 14th minute.
