Jordi Alba marked Lionel Messi “the best player on the planet by a distinction” after the two joined for three of Barcelona’s objectives as the Catalans pounded Celta Vigo 5-0 to come to the Copa del Rey quarterfinals.

Messi scored twice, with Alba, Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic likewise on focus as Barca won 6-1 on total and stretched out their unbeaten streak to 28 coordinates in all rivalries.
