Lionel Messi scores but failed to grab a late winner as Barcelona drop point with Celta Vigo at Nou Camp. Messi ended his five games goalless run, however failed to grab an easy header 85th minute in the game as Barcelona end up level against Celta Vigo.

It was Iago Aspas that took the visiting side ahead in 20th minute in the game with an easy rebound, thanks to poor defending from the league leaders. The Barcelona defenders let former Liverpool man Aspas run through defenders who then found Maxi Gómez, whose first shot was blocked by Stegen. Thankfully Aspas was in position to take the visiting side ahead.

Lionel Messi scored three minutes later as a Pass from Paulinho led to a cool 10 yards finish from Messi. Messi then clattered the near post in 31st minute.

Former Liverpool prodigy Luis Suarez then took the home side ahead in the 62nd minute of the game as a one-two from Messi and Alba found Suarez who scored from six yards. However, 70th minute effort from Aspas found Maxi Gomez who found the net this time to get an equilizer for Celta Vigo.

Barcelona then searched the lead, missing out on hosts of chances. 85th minute effort found Messi and open header from as near as six yards, however the world class striker missed out an open header as Barcelona settled for a draw.
