Jose Mourinho expects his squad to be strengthened following a international period of time after Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick came back to training this week. The trio took part in a time with United’s U23s on Thursday and again on Thursday night as they stepped up restoration from their respected injuries.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic in addition has been increasing his workload – although striker continues to be working individually from the key group. Pogba has missed 12 games due to a hamstring injury but could be back again to face Newcastle United on November 18.

Rojo might need additional time before his return as he has been away since the end of previous season following leg ligament damage. Carrick has made just one single appearance this year against Brighton Albion and is also understood to have been combating a virus which made him dizzy and nauseous.

Their dividends are well-timed after Mourinho arrived under open fire for his tactics at Stamford Bridge previous Weekend as United slipped to defeat at Chelsea and observed the difference between them and competitors Manchester City near the top of the Premier League widen to eight points.
