The Croatian has been sacked, with his replacement at the London Stadium effectively arranged, notwithstanding a late breakdown in negotiations.

The club’s 4-1 loss to Liverpool at the end of the week left them in the Head Team’s last three, having gathered only two wins from their opening 11 games of the season.

Bilic’s rule has subsequently been brought to an end, with former Manchester United and Everton manager David Moyes waiting in the wings to replace him.

“West Ham United can confirm that Slaven Bilic has today left his position with the club,” read an announcement on their official site.

Since joining the club in the late spring of 2015, Slaven has acted all through with honesty and uprightness, and demonstrated incredible assurance and responsibility regarding the role.
