Chelsea have been interested to sign Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater. The England midfielder is one of the names linked to Chelsea as a potential replacement for Matic who joined Manchester United.
Chelsea have bough Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, however Conte wants to sign Drinkwater to improve Squad depth for the club to compete in Champions League along with the campaign to defend English Premier League.
The Italian Manager has already asked Bayern Munich about the availability of Renato Sanches and Drinkwater is also on his list of targets. However Leicester are in no pressure to deal with because the England international recently committed in a new four years contract.
