Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone hint the possibilities for Diego Costa to rejoin Atletico Madrid.
Costa seeks new club after Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte has informed him that he is not the part of the team for coming season. And the statement from Semione hints that the Spaniard could be on his move back to Atletico Madrid.
Simone’s side is currently serving a transfer ban which means they could only sign him on January if they intent to. Costa has also been linked with AC Milan.
“All the players want to stay, they want to achieve even better goals and get even better,” Simeone said.
“Diego Costa? If he comes in January… we can’t say anything about that yet.
“I won’t speak about him now. He is a player of Chelsea. We will talk about the boys who are here now, because we have a late start to the season. That is what is important.”
