Spain enter U-21 European Championship Semis

Spain defeat Portugal 3-1 in group B match to enter the semifinals of ongoing U-21 European Championship cup as group winners. Portugal remains second in the group.

Atletico Madrid forward Saul Niguez took the lead for winning side in 21st minute of the game while former Barcelona striker Sandro Ramirez made it 2-0 in the second half before Bruma halved the deficit in 71st minute for Portugal.

However Atletic Bilbao Striker Inaki Williams scored in third minute of the extra time to confirm Spain’s victory and mark their place in the semifinals.

The other game of the group saw 2-2 draw as Serbia and Macedonia shared points as both teams earned first point in the group. Earlier Spain defeated Macedonia 5-0, thanks to the Hat Trick from Asensio, while Portugal grabbed three points with a 2-0 victory over Serbia.
