Nepal is set to take on Yemen at 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers’ match which will be played in Armed Police forced Football ground at Halchowk.

The match comes as a good opportunity for team Nepal to bounce back from two back to back losses. Nepal first suffered 4-1 loss against Philippines at Manila in their opening match of the qualifiers. The defeat was followed by a 2-0 backdrop against India in the friendly match played in Mumbai.

Meanwhile team Yemen started the qualifiers with a 2-1 victory against Tajikistan against their home match, while they come with a recent defeat against in a friendly match.

The match will see an opportunity for Nepalese supporters to evidence live Football at home, for the first time since the devastating earthquake hit the only international stadium , Dasarath Rangashala.

Only 700 spectators willing to pay high amount of Nrs 1000 will have the opportunity to evident the game live, while rest can observe through their television set.

According to Hamrokhelkud, the Nepal vs Yemen live will be shown in AP1 television, that recently joined hands with All Nepal Football Association for broadcasting and marketing rights.

Nepal will be without Bikram Lama who was sent off against Philippines for handling the ball. While skipper Biraj Maharjan will be available. Maharjan, who faced marching order in India friendly will serve suspension on the next friendly game for Nepal.

Left back Rabin Shrestha will miss the game due to surgery on Knee followed by his ACL injury against Philippines. Kamal Shrestha is set to feature as right full back, while skipper Biraj will feature on left.

Heman Gurung along with Rohit Chand could hold the midfield, while Aditya Chaudhary and Ananta Tamang will guard defense for Nepal.

Either of Bharat Khawas or Bimal Gharti Magar could pair up with Nawayug up front, while Anjan Bista and Sujal Shrestha will feature from midfield.
