Undoubtedly one of the best player in the world Leonel Messi is yet to win important trophy for his country although he has gained all possible achievement in club level football. Messi announced retirement after failing to secure the Copa America title in the after loosing to Chile in penalty shoot out of the 2016’s final.
German legend Jurgen Klinsmann hopes Messi to win the upcoming world cup as the world beater is needed for the world class players to remain as one of the greatest of the game. Klinsmann said,” There’s a chance he’ll get it in Russia next year, A player like Messi needs to seal his legacy by winning the World Cup. I want him to win it because he deserves it.”
He added,” I admire Messi, I’ve always admired him, But I also admire Maradona, especially because I played against him several times, in Inter against Napoli and in Argentina versus Germany. He is an artist because he saw what anyone else couldn’t see.”
Klinsmann adds Messi as a perfectionist, he said,”Messi is different, he is a perfectionist. He’s a great character because he’s humble. He has one main quality: he’s a great scorer.”
