After falling out of favours at the club under Zinedine Zidane, Rodriguez set to leave Real Madrid. As several Serie A sides believed to be in the market looking for him, United have been heavily linked with the transfer.

Inter have been rumoured to be preparing a bid, but AS claim the opening offer has been rejected. Rodriguez made just 13 La Liga starts this season, but still managed to score eight goals and provide six assists in 22 league appearances.

The Colombian reportedly has a frosty relationship with Zidane and is desperate to leave Real to kick start his once blossoming career.
