Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to miss remainder of season after Manchester United officially confirmed that he had a significant ligament damage.
The Swedish forward was forced out in the extra time in United’s Europa league victory against Anderlecht. Although United boss Jose Mourinho initially believed that the injury was not a much concern but he later learned and was worried to miss his season’s top goal scorer.
With his contract ending this season, the match against Anderlecht could have been last one for Zlatan under the United crest.
Beside Zlatan, Rojo was also injured in the same game and the injury could be more worse than what former Chelsea boss had anticipated.
