Captain James Rodriquez taps in rebound as Colombia secure all three points at home as they defeat Bolivia in CONMEBOL world cup qualifiers to move a spot ahead in forth position.
Colombia were moving towards a frustrating draw at their home, however Juan Quardrado earned a penalty. Captain Rodriquez was stopped by the visiting side’s keeper before he found himself lucky to get the rebound and score with seven minutes remaining.
With 21 points, Colombia now move to the forth position in the points table, only below Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina which remains first, second and third respectively. Meanwhile Ecuador, only point below shares points with Chile that stands sixth after a narrow defeat against Argentina.
