Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a brace as Manchester United sideline Southampton in an interesting match at Wembley in EFL cup final as United get first major trophy under Jose Mourinho.

The Swedish stariker headed home the winner in the 87th minute after majority of the regulation time went on for a draw at the hearts of London.  Manchester United could not hold on to their 2-0 lead as Gabbiadini scored twice to come back from 2-0 to 2-2 for Southampton who were in search for their first silverware since 1976.

Ibra found the lead for United in 19th minute of the game, before Lingard scored low from 18 yards to double United’s lead. Gabbiadini scored just before the end of the half to keep the match in control.

Just after the start of second half, Gabbiadini scored once again in the third minute to make it 2-2 for Saints. Ibra sealed victory for United to confirm their first major success under former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
