England midfielder Eric Dier has extended a five-year contract  at Tottenham, keeping him with the Premier League club until 2021.

The 22-year-old former Sporting CP player joined Spurs in 2014 and has transformed into a key player from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Dier’s awesome part in Tottenham challenge for the Premier League title a year prior earned him a international breakthrough and he was a bit of England’s squad for Euro 2016, scoring a free-kick in the opening 1-1 draw against Russia.

As at that opposition, on his landing to club commitment Dier has started every match in Spurs’ unbeaten opening to this season and is in line to incorporate into their Champions League return against Monaco at Wembley on Wednesday.

Dier was seen mainly as a defender when he joined Spurs, yet he has since developed himself as a holding midfielder for club and country.

Since making the move to White Hart Lane, Dier – who has 11 England caps – has shown up 8 7 club appereances and scored six goals.

Dier joins accomplice Christian Eriksen in presenting his future to Tottenham, with the Denmark midfielder having agreed a fresh four-year deal a week prior.

Full-back Kyle Walker, Dier’s England accomplice, is moreover clearly close agreeing another whole deal contract at White Hart Lane.
