Christian Eriksen has presented his future to Tottenham, denoting a four year contract with the Premier League side.
The 24-year-old Denmark international is a key figure for Spurs, having helped Mauricio Pochettino’s team to mount a real test for the league title last season, in the long run finishing third behind Leicester City and runners-up Arsenal.
Eriksen’s past course of action had been set to end toward the end of next season, yet will now stay at White Hart Lane until June 2020.
Eriksen, who has started each of the three of Tottenham’s premier League matches so far this season, netted six goals in 35 appearances last season, supplying 13 assists, just to Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.
He moved to Tottenham from Ajax in August 2013.
