Everton have signed DR Congo international midfielder Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palaceon a five-year deal for £25m.

Bolasie, 27, experienced four seasons with Palace in the wake of joining the London side from Bristol City in 2012.

He played 143 times for Palace scoring 13 goals, and continued as a substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 rout by West Brom.

Palace manager Alan Pardew said after the 1-0 rout: “We know his complete self might be somewhere else.”

Bolasie said the move to Merseyside was a “basic decision”, including: “Now that I’ve come to Everton, the business is not done. I ought to secure and feel my way in. I’m orchestrated and up for the test.

“It’s not about the cash for me. It’s about looking craving of the club and where they are trying to get to. I basically grab the chance to play football.”

Everton executive Ronald Koeman said: “Yannick is a player who has been quite a while on my radar since he’s the sort of winger I like – quick, solid and he can play different positions in the forward line.”

Bolasie is Everton’s fourth signing for .this transfer window.

Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg began from Fulham, Idrissa Gueye from Aston Home, while Edges power Ashley Williams joined on 10 August from Swansea for an undisclosed charge, thought to be £12m.

Everton, who drew 1-1 with Tottenham on Saturday, are in converses with sign Sunderland guard Lamine Kone however hurry to keep striker Romelu Lukaku.

Iranian delegate Farhad Moshiri got a 49.9% stake in Everton in February, finishing the club’s decade-long breadth for new hypothesis.
