Chelsea FC defeated Liverpool football club in the international champions cup held in America. Gary Cahill scored only goal of the match in first half which was enough to seal 1-0 victory for blues against Reds.
Chelsea FC was in worst form of the century after ending season in the 10th position despite of winning the previous season. After the departure of Jose Mourino Guus Hiddink was appointed as an interim manager and now Conte is in the charge of the team. Featuring new players by both team the match went competitive. Both teams had several players coming back from a loan.
The only goal of the match was scored by English international Gary Cahill in the tenth minute of the match while Chelsea were limited to 10 men in a second half after Cesc Febrigas was shown straight red after he had a harsh tackle against opponent.
