Daniel David Katwal, son of famour hair-stylist Neil David Katwal is going to attend a week long training at Manchester United. Katwal is set to leave on Wednesday and will attend the training from July 5 to July 10.

12-year old Nepalese youngster to train in Manchester United after successful training spell in Thailand

Daniel, a 12 year old Nepalese kid will be visiting Manchester United to take part in a week long Football Training Camp on Wednesday. Katwal, who attended a two month long training camp in Bangkok under former Liverpool FC player Kevin Watt was highly rated by the coach. Katwal scored one goal in his only under-12 league match while he also grabbed two goals and three assists in two friendlies.

Daniel was studying in Dr. Graham Homes, Kalebung, India until last year and when his father found out about his talents from his friends and neighborhood, he did not think twice about the next step. “I am not into football and the though of making my son a footballer never struck me. But looking at the type of game my son plays and the people speak of him, i think he can make it to the big stage’, said Neil David Katwal. Katwal further added that he will do everything he can in order to fulfill his son’s dream to become a professional football player.

Katwal started to play football from 8 years and has played for his school team too. He also told that he is fit with the senior team in his locality and his seniors motivate him a lot. Katwal said that it is his dream to be a footballer and is thinking about a professional career in it. “I am training hard to fulfill my dreams and one day i will write my country’s name in history books”, he added.

Katwal idolizes Wayne Rooney and says one day he dreams to become as successful as the English skipper. “My best player is Wayne Rooney. I love the way he plays and the way he came forward in his career, i hope i can emulate him someday.”, said Katwal. “In my position, i think Juan Mata is best player. He reads the game well and has good technical ability to operate as central attacking midfielder”, Katwal added.

Katwal is currently training with Former Nepalese team Skipper Raju Kaji Shakya. Shakya’s own National Football Academy situated in Sankhamul is providing training to many such youngsters. Speaking on Katwal, coach Raju Kaji Shakya told that it is a great chance for him to get such training facility. “He trained in Bangkok before and to go there again will develop him well. We can hope better days in Nepalese Football if such opportunities are grasped well. I wish the best for him.”,Shrestha ended.

Katwal will also be travelling to Italy at the end of 2015 to take part in yet another training camp.
