Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande have broken the Asian exchange record by marking Atletico Madrid’s Jackson Martinez for £31m.

The 29-year-old Colombia striker has marked a four-year bargain and will join winter preparing in Dubai on 9 February taking after a physical examination.

He scored just 2 goals in 22 matches for Atletico taking after his £24.8m move from Porto the previous summer. Martinez is the most recent prominent player to move to China this year. Chelsea midfielder Ramires and Serie A twosome Gervinho and Fredy Guarin are among the other enormous Chinese signings in 2016.
