Statwise, Diego Costa has not been performing well for Chelsea. And performance wise, he has not been helping the team to get the goals, which is affecting the team’s title defense approach. With just 11 points in 12 games, Chelsea are languishing in the 16th position. Even though the season is just reaching its one-third point, Chelsea should be worried about the form of their striker.

Costa has played 14 matches for Club and country since the start of the season and he has returned just 4 goals. Two in the premier league, One in EURO Qualifiers and another in UEFA Champions League. Averaging just 1.6 shots per game, Costa is finding it hard to co-op with the midfield and producing scoring chances, let alone the goals to follow.
