Juventus won back to back league titles in Italy in previous seasons but the story seems long gone now as Allegri and his side are in the bottom half of the table.

Juventus vs Lazio- Preview and Starting Lineup - Italian Super Cup

Juventus hopeful about new transfer signings covering up departing Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez

With players leaving the club after a successful season where the team won Serie A League Title, Italian Cup and reached the finals of Champions League, Juventus are languishing in the bottom half of the table. Allegri did not have the services of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez from the last season but they brought in players to replace them. The replacements are not performing as per the expectation and hence the effect.

Andrea Pirlo is having good season in New York while Carlos Tevez is taking the headlines in Argentina. Tevez joined his boyhood club Boca Juniors while Pirlo joined Frank Lampard and David Villa in New York City FC. Arturo Vidal joined Pep Guardiola’s side Bayern Munich and is earning big plaudits in Germany.

New signings Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic are finding it hard to settle in Allegri’s plan while Simone Zaza is yet to impress. Dybala scored the winner a week ago but drew blank when Juve lost 1-0 to Sassuolo in the Serie A this week.
