When Manchester United signed Anthony Martial from AS Monaco, much was talked about the fee paid to the french outfit.

Anthony Martial Manchester United

One month into his Manchester United career, the decision to spend big amount looks like going to the right direction. As per the reports,Manchester United paid £35millions for the services of french teenager and with addons, the fee could rise up to near about £60millions. But, the addons include clauses like winning Ballon D’Or, Winning European Golden Shoe etc which does not seem likely in seasons to come. Martial scored four goald out of four first team apperances for the Manchester based club.

Along with the present performance, he also stamped his authority in the number nine shirt handed to him by Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal. Dutch Manager Van Gaal handed Martial the iconic shirt used by Dimitar Berbatov and Radamel Falcao in recent seasons.

But, despite being a big name, colombian forward Falcao managed just from five goals throughout season which Martial looks to match into his sixth match for the club. With martial performing well, the club has been producing results in the league and is at the top of the table. With other title challengers faltering along the way, if Martial and co can keep up the consistency the league could return to red half of Manchester.
