Nepal are pitted in group E along with Iran, Kuwait and Jordan. Nepal is set to play all their matches in Samen Al Amehe Stadium in Mashad, Iran.

Ten group winners and five best second-placed teams will qualify for the finals

A total of 43 Member Associations are competing for a place in the final round consisting of 16 team. Bahrain received an automatic qualification in the capacity of a host.

Nepalese coach Bal Gopal Maharjan has revealed that the team will go into the match with defensive formation. Nepal qualified for second round when Maharjan was incharge of the U16 team. He is with the same team in U19 now and is hoping for a better result.

According to Maharjan, Nepal will field in 1-4-4-1 formation tomorrow but has not revealed the lineup yet. There is high probability that Ananta Tamang might be playing in as a sweeper while other defenders will play in front of him. Bimal Gharti Magar will lead the line while Anjan Bista will drop down to the midfield and support attack.
