South Korean International Heung Min Son was signed from Bayer Leverkusen in a £22 million deal and much is expected from the Asian wing-forward.
After Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado were stripped off their shirt numbers by the Spurs board, Harry Kane was the only out and out striker in the team. And even after the end of transfer window, the situation looks to be similar bar couple of wing forwards who have the ability to play up front with Harry Kane or alone if needed. Clinton N’Jie’s arrival from Olympique Lyon and Heung Min Son joining from Bayer Leverkusen has helped in SPurs’ attacking options.
N’Jie has pulled out of the recent International friendlies citing injuries but the sources have cleared the injury is not serious and is taken as a precaution. Regarding Son, the Korean forward bagged a hat-trick in S. Korea’s 8-0 win over Laos in Asian Qualifiers for 2018 World Cup. Son scored three goals from different measures. The first one was toe poke finish from inside the box, second one was onto far corner from a tight angle while the third goal was a curler from outside the box.
