Chelsea Team News vs Arsenal – Costa set to start while Falcao in substitute – FA Community Shield

Jose Mourinho is set to start with Diego Costa as the portugese manager aims for a positive start to the season.

Eden Hazard will be expecting to continue excellent run of form when Arsenal and Chelsea meet in traditional season opener at Wembley later today. Hazard scored a brillaint goal in Chelsea’s pre season game against Barcelona as the midfielder went past three defenders to score past goalkeeper Ter Stegen. Along with Hazard’s brilliance, Mourinho will be expecting for Diego Costa to start firing.

With Radamel Falcao in the team and Loic Remy also fighting hard to prove himslef in the squad, Costa needs to fire from the start. Remy has been impressive with the chances but has not been able to beat Costa to the starting spot. Along with the fight up front in the attack, there are places up for grabs in the defense line too. Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma are both vying for a spot alongside John Terry while Ivanovic and Azpilicueta look set to start in the wings. Mourinho is yet to confirm on the goalie as Begovic has been in top form in the friendlies, but Courtois might take the no.1 spot.
