The most recent match between the sides ended 1-1 on Feburary. Clinton N’Jie’s goal on the half hour mark was equalized from the spot by Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the 69th minute.

Team News:

Bayern will be without Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore for this match as the duo have joined the squad late from their International duty. Argentine International played their part in the country’s final journey but failed to win against Chile in penalty shootout. New signing Kevin Trapp might feature from the start as he has been playing great in the goal this pre-season. Benjamin Stambouli, who just arrived from Tottenham Hotspur could feature in the start as Thiago Motta is dealing with Hamstring problem, however Adrien Rabiot is also fighting for a chance.

Lyon will not acquire services of Clement Grenier and Gueida Fofana as the players are out injured and will not be available for selection. Nabil Fekir is suspended after receiving a ban from the French FA. Cristophe Jallet is not fully fit and will be assessed ahead of the match.
