MLS Watch: Can Montreal Impact’s transfer sensation Didier Drogba perform in MLS?

Didier Drogba has followed the path of Modern day legends by joining the already long list of players to play in MLS.

After the arrival of Andrea Pirlo and Steven Gerrard, Didier Drogba has followed the trend as the Ivorian International has joined Montreal Impact and has joined the squad on immediate effect. Impact, who had Marco DI Vaio as their marquee player have replaced him with Drogba, who looks to be an ideal choice and the best around as well.

Drogba is a popular figure in whole world, not only for his footballing abilities but also for the activity he has done back home. Drogba urged the opposing parties in Ivory Coast to have a table talk and made a platform which stopped domestic violence. He is considered to be one of the top social activist in Africa with lots of other social responsibilities covered by Didier Drogba Foundation.

Despite being 37 year old, Drogba can make a big impact in Montreal and bring back the crowd in the ground which has just seen the stadium being filled up once since establishment of the club.
