With departure of key figures from the team, Juventus are hopeful that their new recruits will not decline the status in success.

Juventus hopeful about new transfer signings covering up departing Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez

Juventus had a season full of success last term as they won the domestic double and reached the final of UEFA Champions League. Despite losing out 3-1 to FC Barcelona in the final, Juventus’ five players were nominated in Top 10  UEFA’s best player of the season. On that list were, Goalkeeper Ginaluigi Buffon, Midfield trio of Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal and Forward Carlos Tevez. Of those five, three players have left the club to pursuit their elsewhere.

Carlos Tevez has flown back home to join Boca Juniors. Tevez joined West Ham from Boca and then went on to win the league with Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus. Vidal has joined Bayern Munich while Pirlo will line up alongside Frank Lampard for New York City FC in the Major League Soccer.

Juventus have brought in Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic on the attack and retained loan move of Roberto Pereyra to permanent from Udinese. Sami Khedira has arrived on a free transfer from Real Madrid with Simone Zaza joining from Sassuolo.
