As the new season beckons, GiveMeGoal looks at new players who could write their name in the top lists.
11. John Ruddy
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Norwich City
Once an England International, Ruddy has returned to the top division with Norwich and we can expect the same heroics he did last time he was in the Premier League.
10. Dimitri Payet
Position: Midfielder
Club: West Ham United
Payet was one of the best performers in Europe and West Ham have got themselves a gem of a player in the current market valuation.
9. Matt Ritchie
Position: Midfielder
Club: AFC Bournemouth
The midfielder was excellent in Bournemouth’s promotion campaign and is expected to continue his form.
8. Georginio Wijnaldum
Position: Midfielder
Club: Newcastle United
Voted in Dutch League’s team of the year and one of the top performer in Dutch squad, Wijnaldum is expected to lead form the front in Wearside.
7. Roberto Firmino
Position: Midfielder
Club: Liverpool
Another Brazilian in the ranks of Merseyside and Firmino is expected to perform much more than what previous signings offered.
6. Micah Richards
Position: Defender
Club: Aston Villa
Richards returned to England after a stint in Italy with Fiorentina and the English International expects to deliver what was expected from him in his early days.
5. Callum Wilson
Position: Forward
Club: AFC Bournemouth
4. Matteo Darmian
Position: Defender
Club: Manchester United
The right back is expected to cover up United’s weak point last season. He is good in attack as well as solid in defense.
3. Troy Deeney
Position: Forward
Club: Watford
Deeney is not a new name in League football and he expects to perform in the same level as he did in lower league football.
2. Andre Ayew
Position: Wing/Forward
Club: Swansea City
Ayew can operate as a forward and is in the midfielders section in FPL. With Bony’s replacement still vacant, Ayew can rack up some vital points this season.
1. Memphis Depay
Position: Wing Forward
Club: Manchester United
One of the top signing this season in Europe, Depay is expected to take the league by storm and with his ability, its not a tough call.
